Description
The course will address the history of Methodism from the 18th century to the formation of the Global Methodist Church. Attention will be given to the people, events, ideas, and traditions that have shaped Methodism’s theology and structure. Students will also acquire the skills needed to understand and apply the Global Methodist Church’s polity as presented in the denomination’s Book of Doctrine and Discipline.
