Description

This course will explore and focus on Jesus and his teaching methodologies as an approach to educational ministry. Jesus’ teaching approaches are transformative and emancipatory, providing guidelines for the 21st-century faith community. Educational methods of practice will include connecting Jesus’ models to Negro Spirituals and storytelling and multi-cultural teaching and learning styles. The goal is to strengthen the teaching ministry so that participants will be empowered and challenged to apply Jesus’ teaching methodologies to contexts of social and technological change.
