Description

This course is designed for students who wish to complete a fourth unit of CPE geared toward achieving Level II competencies and outcomes. Students must consult with the Director for the Center For Chaplaincy about their choice of a CPE site. Credit will only be granted for programs certified by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Students must satisfactorily complete the second unit of CPE (6 credit hours) and provide copies of their Certificate of Completion and final evaluation to the Registrar and Interim Director of the Center for Chaplaincy for these hours to count toward their degree program’s requirements. Depending upon the site, students may register for CPE for 3 credit hours over two semesters or they may register for 6 credit hours for one semester. Prerequisite PTH 352 and permission of the Director for the Center of Chaplaincy or CPE Faculty Liaison.
