Description

This course will be structured to understand the distinction and variety of religion in the United States of America. We will study indigenous religions, Eastern religions and analyze how religion has developed in the diverse sociohistorical contexts of predominately Protestant Christian North America. We will have dialogue and assignments to assess how religion is lived currently and how it shapes and influences society. Pre-requisite: CHT 115 and 55 completed hours.
