Description
An introduction to the histories, theologies, cultures and practices of Christian worship. Emphases will include reflection on the revelation of God and the responses of human beings, the integral nature of justice practices to liturgical practices, the communication of the gospel through the Christian year, the meaning of the sacraments and their relationship to the Word. Students will engage in worship leadership, including oral interpretation of texts, litanies, and the preparation and performance of sermons. Required.
