Description
This course will help students to grow as preachers by considering how the Spirit speaks to the Church through voices that have been marginalized. Attention is given to how the Spirit moves in preaching within communities that have been overlooked and the power structures that impact said communities. By considering the sermons and writings of those who have been historically ignored, we will encounter fresh messages of Gospel hope and empowerment for us today.
