Description
This course is designed for students to increase their understanding and knowledge of the theoretical basis and practices of practical and pastoral theology in the context of rising racial tensions, and calls for justice. Students will use Case Study methodology based upon each student's ministerial context and the materials presented in class. This form of teaching pastoral and practical theology is designed to assist students in theological reflection and analyze their work, ministry formation, and praxis of practical theology. Case Study is a systematic way of helping students identify the interpersonal dynamics, pastoral interactions/interventions, and addressing both the espoused theology and “lived-theology.â€
