Pastoral Care, Community, Ethics (PTH 427)

Description
This course will 1) explore the relationship between pastoral care and justice in the broader community and 2) examine ethical and pastoral care perspectives that have emerged during the 21st century. Students will visit various sites and contexts that demonstrate models or forms of structural, i.e. economic, healthcare, social advocacy, and integrative ministry. This course satisfies a concentration elective in the Community Advocacy and Social Justice Ministry Specialization or the Pastoral Theology and Care Specialization.
