Description

While most persons know Martin Luther King, Jr., as a great civil rights leader, few understand him as a theologian. This course traces such influences on King's theology as the Boston School of Personalism, Gandhi, and Reinhold Niebuhr. The course also explores how King's theology served as the basis for his movement of non-violent civil disobedience. Pre-requisite: THS 110 & 111.
